The primary objective of TISP is to create a collaborative and coordinated environment that will enable secure and resilient infrastructure, raise awareness and support the nation’s economy and the well-being of its people. With this objective in mind, TISP strives to provide connections, break down barriers and offer a forum on resilience not available any place else. The connections are intersecting Defense, Homeland Security and Emergency Management disciplines and professions within local, regional, state, federal and foreign agencies; professional associations and industry trade groups; engineering, architecture and construction firms; codes and standards organizations; educational institutions and universities; planners and economic developers; infrastructure owners and operators; manufacturers; and service providers, whose collective purpose is related to the security and resiliency of the nation’s built environment.
